PEN Pregunta Video
Video of a public protest organised by the Mexican Centre titled PEN Pregunta, which was filmed by Linda Díaz at Casa Lamm in Mexico City on 22 February 2015. This protest involved the participation of more than thirty writers, both from Mexico and abroad, who were seated alphabetically and each given one minute to ask a question or series of questions to the Mexican authorities. Those seen speaking in the video include the Mexican author and journalist Magali Tercero; John Ralston Saul, president of PEN International (2009-15); Regula Venske, president of the German Centre (2017-) and PEN International Board member; Elena Poniatowska, member of the Mexican Centre and vice-president of PEN International; Víctor Sahuatoba, vice-president emeritus of the San Miguel de Allende Centre; and Ismael Bojórquez, editor-in-chief of the Sinaloa based newspaper Ríodoce.
