Typed letter from György Konrád and Alexandre Blokh to Carmen Lawrence, London, 20 May 1992; heading: «International P.E.N., A world association of writers», f. 1. In this letter, György Konrád, president of PEN International (1990-93), and Alexandre Blokh, international secretary of PEN International (1981-98), are expressing their concern to Lawrence, Prime Minister of Western Australia (1990-93), over the case of Australian journalist Avon Lovell, who was facing legal hurdles following the publication of The Mickelberg Stitch, and ask her to investigate the case.
