Photograph of PEN members at the 58^th PEN International Congress in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which was held from 29 November to 4 December 1992 and was titled Man In Face of Nature. Among them are: Nélida Piñon, third from the right, member of the Brazilian Centre and honorary member of the Galician Centre (2005-); Hanan Awwad, second from the right, president of the Palestinian Centre (1992-); and Mariella Sala Eguren, Board member of Women’s WORLD (1986-). At this Congress the Palestinian Centre was officially welcomed into PEN International.
