NGO meeting at Casa Lamm
Photograph of PEN delegates with freedom of expression activists at an NGO meeting held at Casa Lamm in Mexico City on 28 January 2012. This meeting took place as part of PEN Protesta!, a protest campaign organised by PEN International and the Mexican Centre, which aimed to act as a public demonstration of solidarity and an official appeal for accountability for cases of murdered or disappeared journalists in Mexico. This photograph was taken by Marian Botsford Fraser, president of the Canadian Centre (1997-99) and chair of PEN International’s Writers in Prison Committee (2009-12).
