Photograph of PEN members at a conference held in Accra in 2005 in preparation for the 73^rd PEN International Congress in Senegal, 4-7 July 2007, titled The World and Human Values. This conference was supported by UNESCO and hosted by the Ghanaian Centre, and aimed to initiate plans for sustained collaboration between the African PEN Centers as well as select a theme for the Congress. Veronica Uzoigwe, member of the Nigerian Centre, can be seen seated at the back on the left.
