Manifesto by Ismaïlia Samba Traoré

Manifesto titled “Manifeste des écrivains et activistes culturels du Mali”, which was written by Ismaïlia Samba Traoré and issued in Bamako on 4 May 2012, ff. 2. In this document Traoré, president of the Malian Centre (2015-), condemns the violence perpetrated by insurgent groups in Mali, and call for defense of the country’s cultural heritage. Traoré asserts the Malian Centre’s position in fighting to protect freedom in the face of crisis, and calls for dialogue between both sides of the conflict.

Manifiesto titulado «Manifeste des écrivains et activistes culturels du Mali», escrito por Ismaïlia Samba Traoré y emitido en Bamako, el 4 de mayo de 2012, ff. 2. En este documento, Traoré, presidente del Centro Maliense (2015-), condemna la violencia perpetrada por grupos insurgentes en Mali, y hace un llamamento a proteger el patriomonio cultural del país. Traoré afirma que la posición del Centro Maliense es la de proteger la libertad durante la crisis, y pide el diálogo entre las dos partes del conflicto.
