Khaleda Froagh

Photograph of Khaleda Froagh, poet and member of the Afghan Centre’s first Board. Froagh acted as the first point of contact for a delegation from the Norwegian Centre when they visited Afghanistan in 2003 to help establish the Afghan Centre. This photograph was taken by Eugene Schoulgin, member of the Norwegian and Swedish Centres, president of the Writers in Prison Committee (2000-04), international secretary (2007-10) and vice-president of PEN International (2004-), who was part of that delegation and whose handwritten captions can be seen on the reverse side of the photograph.

Froagh a agi à titre de premier contact avec la délégation du Centre norvégien lors de leur visite en Afghanistan en 2003 dans le but d'aider à la création d'un Centre afghan.
