The photograph above shows international guests most likely gathered for the Palestinian Centre’s 6^th International Poetry Festival, which took place in Jerusalem, Nablus and Bethlehem on 1-4 October 1999. The photograph below shows Hanan Awwad, president of the Palestinian Centre (1992-), holding a plaque and speaking before a table of delegates.
