The photograph above shows Hanan Awwad, president of the Palestinian Centre (1992-), holding a drawing of a hand holding a quill, with a delegation of academics and writers from Spain. The photograph below shows international guests gathered for a literary event, most likely the Palestinian Centre’s 6^th International Poetry Festival, which took place in Jerusalem, Nablus and Bethlehem on 1-4 October 1999.
