Copy of Wadia, Sophia, ed. “The P.E.N. Stands for Free Speech,” The Indian P.E.N. 6, no. 12 (1 December 1940): 1. In this article, published in the All-India Centre’s own periodical The Indian P.E.N., the All-India Centre asserts its efforts to protect freedom of expression, protests against its member Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s four-year prison sentence, and confirms its firm position in condemning ‘Hitlerism’. This journal was edited by Sophia Wadia, founder of the All-India Centre.

Dans cet article, publié dans le périodique du Centre indien The Indian P.E.N., le Centre indien affirme les efforts qu'il déploie afin de protéger la liberté d'expression, proteste contre la peine d'emprisonnement de quatre ans à l'endroit de Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, membre du Centre, et confirme la fermeté de sa position en condamnant «L'Hitlérisme». Sophia Wadia, fondatrice du Centre indien, était la rédactrice en chef de ce journal.
