First meeting with Norwegian and Afghan Members

This photograph was taken when Schoulgin visited Afghanistan in 2003 as part of a delegation from the Norwegian Centre that helped establish the Afghan Centre. His handwritten captions can be seen on the reverse side of the photograph, including a note that Hamed was “one of the most important members of Afghan PEN from the start”.
