2018 Duygu Asena Women’s Rights Award

Photograph of attendees of the 2018 PEN Duygu Asena Awards ceremony, which was hosted by the Goethe-Institut in Istanbul on 6 March 2018, two days before International Women’s Day. The 2018 Duygu Asena Women’s Rights Award was presented to the Turkish lawyer Nazan Moroğlu, chair of the Istanbul Women’s Organisations Association, who can be seen seated second from the right on the front row. With her, from left to right, are: Turkish author Zeynep Göğüş; Zeynep Oral, president of the Turkish Centre (2015-); and İnci Asena, sister of the late Duygu Asena, after whom the award is named. From left to right on the back row are: Turkish writer and translator Sevin Okyay; Tarık Günersel, Board member of PEN International (2010-12) and president of the Turkish Centre (2007-09); Tülin Dursun, general secretary of the Turkish Centre (2015-); and Halil Ibrahim Özcan, vice-president of the Turkish Centre (2015-).

2019 Duygu Asena, premios para los derechos de las mujeres

Fotografía de asistentes a la ceremonia de los Premios 2018 PEN Duygu Asena, organizada en el Goethe-Institut en Estambul, el 6 de marzo de 2018, dos días antes del Día Internacional de la Mujer. En 2018 se entregó el Premio Duygu Asena Women’s Rights a la abogada turca Nazan Moroğlu, presidenta de la Istanbul Women's Organisations Association, que se encuentra sentada la segunda empezando por la derecha, en la primera fila. Con ella, de izquierda a derecha: el autor turco Zeynep Göğüş; Zeynep Oral, presidenta del Centro Turco (2015-); y İnci Asena, hermana de la difunta Duygu Asena, que dio nombre al premio.
